Get Glowing Healthy Skin in 3 STEPS!

Hello, everyone!  Spring and Summer is just around the corner---hopefully sooner than later---and if you're like me, you're dreaming of those hot sunny days that you can wear sundresses, denim shorts and flip flops again.  Oh, the good ole days!  When you're showing off a little more skin, you want it to be soft and look fantastic in those short shorts.   Put your dull winter skin days behind you and step forward to Healthy, Glowing Skin in 1 - 2 - 3!

MY STEPS FOR YOU!

1. EXFOLIATE
The first step to smooth skin is exfoliation and here are some examples.  A very gentle way is using a loofah with your favorite body wash that will help remove any dead skin.  The second option and my favorite is using an All Natural Sugar Scrub, which is effective at removing dry skin.

My last and most unique tip is using a Dry Skin Brush (find it here).  These are inexpensive and can be found in the bath/body section in many stores and of course, on Amazon.  I paid only $4 for mine!  Dry skin brushing is very easy, I usually do it before I hop in the shower and start at my feet brushing my skin upwards.  Sounds kinda strange, but so worth it and it's actually really relaxing and offers loads of other benefits.  Want more details on dry skin brushing?  Comment below & I can do a specific post on it!

2. MOISTURIZE
Step two is also simple and it's to moisturize, especially after showering and during colder months when our skin is naturally more dry.  You can use body lotions, body butters or natural oils/butters.  Whatever you use, READ LABELS!  Use more natural products that are good for your skin without added garbage.

My two favorite natural lotions are Desert Essence Organics Fragrance Free Body Lotion (find it here) and Alba Botanica Hawaiian Hand & Body Lotion with Cocoa Butter (find it here).  Both of these are full of oils, butters and vitamins that your skin will soak right up!  I'm also a huge fan of Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Shea Butter which are amazing moisturizers for nighttime use and can even be used on your face.  Coconut Oil has saved my skin this winter!

3. DIET, DIET, DIET!
Lastly, to achieve healthy skin is to have a good diet.  Now what does that mean?  Well, I'm asking you to EAT CLEAN--eat whole foods that are full of nutrients and make your plate colorful.  Eat a lot of fruit; these are the healthy carbs our body loves and they're also water rich.  You also should drink water, I'm talking 1.5-2 L per day.  No whining, it can be done! :)  By doing this, your helping your skin from the inside out and putting less toxins into the body.

It's truly as easy as 1, 2, 3!  Be consistent with all three steps, and be ready to reveal gorgeous skin to be proud of.  I hope you enjoyed this post and found my tips helpful.  Have any advice of your own?  Share down below!  Be sure to comment, share and follow this blog for more.  Thanks so much for reading and have a great day!

Love ya lots,
Richelle

Coral & White Nails -- New Look

Hello, Everyone! How are you all doing? I'm doing pretty well knowing my nails are in a much better place at the current moment! The last time I painted them was for Holiday Date Night + Outfit of the Day earlier this month.  If you never saw that post you can click HERE.  So to sum it up, they were a classic red that is way overdue and my nails needed some assistance!

I went for a colorful Spring shades and topped it with white glitter topcoat.  The polishes include Sally Hansen's Extreme Wear #405 Coral Reef (find it here) & #300 White Out (find it here) and lastly, Elf #25115 Enchanted.   These are all very inexpensive, but are surprisingly good quality and have at least 4-5 before any major chipping begins.  Also both brands are cruelty-free, so thumbs up for the animals :)

Whispering Wood Candles - Wood Wicked Candle Review

Hello, everyone!  In today's post, I want share with you my new favorite candle brand: Whispering Wood.  I didn't purchase these candles myself, but were gifts on two separate occasions from my little brother....my last one was a Christmas present and he said he wants to stick to the tradition--lucky me! Who can turn down a good candle?

They were purchased at K-mart and come in a variety of colored wax options and scents.  I own Vanilla Bean & Cream and Cinnamon Roll.  Both smell so amazing and authentic!  The candles are 17.5oz and come in a glass jar with a wooden lid.  My favorite part is that they use a wood posts as their wick instead of fibers.  While the candles burn, you can hear flickering and crackling noises just like a real fire.  Hence "Whispering Wood".  The title is truly fitting!  I have also found that with these wicks, the candles are much easier and faster to light.  In addition, they burn evenly without added wax build up on insides' of the jar, which in my opinion is a sign of a quality candle.

Close-up of the X-shaped wood wick---who thinks of this stuff?

Vanilla Bean &Cream is 2/3 gone, but burning perfectly down to the bottom!
I enjoyed talking about candles with all of you!  If you're looking some new candles, I highly recommend you seek out Whispering Wood.  Have you ever owned any wood wicked styles before? What brands are your favorite?  If you liked this post, don't forget to like, comment and follow for more.  Have a great week everyone!

  • Erica's Questions For Me:

    1. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging for many reasons, but the main one was the meet other people that shared the same interests as me.  I just love my blog--it's my "me" space and special place I get to escape to whenever I want and I love sharing it with others.

    2. If you could only have three items of makeup for the rest of your life what would they be?
This is a tough question, Erica!  I think it would have to be concealer, a matte bronzer and black mascara.  My fair skin needs all the sunshine glow it can get!  As far as lip balm goes, that better be part of skincare because I can't live without that either!

    3. Favorite movie of all time?
Favorite movie of all time would have to be How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days staring the beautiful Kate Hudson and sexy Matthew Mcconaughey.  These two make this movie great and it's full of romance and comedy.  I highly recommend it if you haven't watched it!

    4. When you were a kid what did you say you wanted to be when you grew up?
As a kid there was two main things I wanted to be: an artist and owner of a horse stable.  I could never decide between the two, my love for art and horses are pretty high in my heart!

    5. Favorite food?
This is an easy, but pretty boring answer and it's pizza! HOWEVER, my favorite is BBQ Chicken Pizza and there has to be breadsticks as well.  Movie night is simply not the same without it.

    6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years, I plan to be married and living in my own house on a few acres of land.  Also have more art back into my life and design a studio.  And of course, continue to grow my blog and channel.

    7. What is your favorite season?
My favorite season is definitely fall.  I live in Michigan and once fall hits, the leaves change colors and it's such a beautiful place to be.  I also LOVE going to the cider-mill, getting donuts and cider, and going through corn mazes.  I love everything about fall except all the insects!

    8. Coffee or Tea?
Tea for sure!  I'm a huge tea drinker.  I never start my morning without it and still have at least another 1-2 cups throughout the day.  In fact, I love tea so much that I created Tea Tuesday where a new tea is featured the first Tuesday of every month on my blog.

    9. What is your most worn clothing item?
I'm not sure how specific I need to be, but I live in tank tops!  They are definitely a staple in my wardrobe and are worn regardless of the season.  I do love Forever 21's basic tanks the best.

    10. Favorite blogger or Youtuber?
Ooh, this is a very hard question!  So I must break it a little bit... Favorite Blogger would be Anna from Annasaccone.com and Favorite Youtuber would be Essie from EssieButton.  Although, I love both their blogs and channels and they are very inspirational ladies.

    11. What is your dream vacation spot?
My dream vacation spot is not a specific place, but it has to be warm and tropical.   I would also love to visit the UK and Greece.

    I Nominate:

    My Nominees' Questions:

    1.  How did you choose your blog's name?
    2.  Have any pets? List them below!
    3.  What's your favorite book?
    4.  Coffee or Tea?
    5.  What's your favorite season?
    6.  Who's your favorite blogger and/or Youtuber?
    7.  You have 5 minutes to do your makeup.  What products do you use?
    8.  What are your favorite TV shows?
    9. Where would be your dream place to live?
    10.  Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
    11.  Favorite handbag or clothing brand?

There you have it!  I hope you all participate and enjoy the questions I created for you... I can't wait to hear your responses!  You have a great weekend :)

DIY Sugar Body Scrub - Only 3 Ingredients & All Natural!

Hello, everyone!  Welcome back for another beauty related post.  Today, I'm going to show you how I make my favorite sugar body scrub.  Its made of only 3 ingredients, is all natural and very simple to create.   This universal recipe is safe for all skin types and can literally be used from head to toe!

The ingredients are sugar (classic white granulated sugar), organic coconut oil, and organic sweet almond oil.  You can find everything at most grocery stores, Whole Foods, health stores, or online such as Amazon.  The oils are usually located near the vegetable or olive oil sections.  I prefer to you white sugar instead of salt in my scrub because it's much gentler on the skin, especially if you plan on using it on your face.  I use both coconut oil and sweet almond oil for adding deep moisture and anti-aging benefits.  These oils are also packed with many nutrients including Vitamin E which is a leading ingredient found in most expensive eye and facial creams.  Now onto this super easy tutorial that your skin is gonna love!

    RECIPE:

    1 cup White Granulated Sugar
    1/4 cup Organic Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Organic Sweet Almond Oil

    1. Use a medium sized mixing bowl and add your sugar first, followed with the oils.  If your coconut oil is solid like mine, microwave it in a small dish on short intervals of 15-20 seconds until completely melted.  Then add with the rest.
    2. Mix all ingredients together until well blended to a thick consistency.  I swear it looks just like snow!
    3. Place into containers.  I ended up filling two 4oz containers.
    4. Finally, use and enjoy!

NOTE: You can easily double this recipe.  These measurements will make about 8oz of scrub and can be stored in any sealed container or jar.  I prefer using plastic rubbermaid containers which are safer for inside the shower.

And it's that easy!  You're already done and ready to pamper yourself :) I hope you liked this sort of post.  If you do try this recipe, be sure to let me know and tell me what you think!  I use this scrub on a weekly basis and it's definitely a staple in my beauty routine.  I particularly love this as a facial scrub and use it 1-2 times a week.  If you enjoyed this post please like, comment and follow this blog for more.  As always, have a fantastic day and I'll talk with you all soon!

    Love ya lots,

HANDBAG REVEAL: JW Hulme Co - American Made! + VIDEO

Hello, everyone!  I'm very excited to share with you a new purchase I made recently from JW Hulme Co, an American made leather goods company.  I'm so impressed that I wanted to do a reveal on what I got.  This company doesn't have nearly the amount of publicity that it deserves, so I figured they are deserved a shout-OUT!

It's been a few years since I invested in a new handbag, preferably made in America.  I've owned several Coach Handbags through the years, but I was so disappointed to see that they currently made in China considering how much they cost.  I want to insure I'm getting something of quality and want to support our businesses here.  I love handbags--no doubt my favorite accessory!  I searched and searched on Google and finally found JW Hulme Co, which is an USA made company.

Quick Info about JW:  They are USA Made company working out of St. Paul, Minnesota since 1905.  They create leather goods and are well know for their luggage and briefcases, but now design a variety of wallets, tech accessories, handbags and more.  All their items are handcrafted by leather artisans--how cool, right?!  PLUS: all of their products are backed with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!  Yes, you read that correctly!  If you experience any problems just contact their customer service--where you only deal with REAL people I might add--and they will assist you.  HUGE reason I'm in love with this company--the pride they have and these items are built to last!

I fell in love with many styles on their website, but ended up ordering the Henry Satchel in "Plum Leather".  The color option and shape of this bag had me sold!  It has a top handle strap and detachable/removable cross-body strap.  I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the brass hardware details! It features a large outer back pocket that has 'USA' monogramed.  Most items offer complimentary monogramming.  I'm all for supporting home, so that's why I choose to  have USA monogramed instead of my initials.  Inside there is a zippered compartment and a decent size slip pocket that easily holds my Samsung Galaxy S5.  This item also came with a soft creamy-yellow dust bag.

Okay, now I need to catch my breath... Sorry for such a long post and all the "!".  I couldn't help myself, I love talking about purses!  I hope you found this reveal helpful and made you think about what brands you buy from.  If you're looking for a US company, I suggest you check them out.  Their website is: http://www.jwhulmeco.com .  If you liked this post, please like, comment and follow this blog for more.  Have any favorite USA Handbag companies?  If so, please share them below!  You all have an amazing day and I'll talk with you soon!

    Love ya lots,
    Richelle

P.S. If you do plan on making a purchase, give your email address and you'll receive 15% off your order.. pretty awesome, right?  Also orders over $200 ship free.  I'm all for saving money :)

FOREVER 21 Haul - Basics & Classic Favorites

Hey, everyone!  Here today with a quick haul from Forever 21 that I ordered online at the end of December.  I love dealing with their website instead of the crazy and often messy F21 stores.  As a new online customer, I received 10% my order when I provided my email address and used a promo-code for free shipping when you spend $50+.  (Do this if you plan on ordering online from them--SO worth it; I promise!)

Forever 21 isn't the fanciest place--I'll be honest--but it is full of affordable options that I love.  I shop their "Not So Basic" Collection which is the bulk of this haul.  It's amazing what $50 can get you and seriously, that's all I spent.  Think of it this way, the more money saved on basics, the more you have to splurge on more expensive must-haves.  Hello, Louis Vuitton :)  I prefer to spend more on makeup and handbags: my favorite way to customize my look.  I would much rather carry a luxurious designer handbag and pair it with classic basics which are more my style anyways.  You know what I mean?  I hope I made sense!

Anyways, moving on to the haul!  Here's the specifics of what I ordered:

    Stretch-Knit Tanks in "Walnut" & "Faience"..... $3.90/each
Fitted V-Neck Tee in "Sage"..... $5.90/each
Classic Leggings in "Black" & "Olive"..... $3.90/each
Bodycon Tank Dress in "Indigo"..... $6.90/each
Bodycon Skirt in "Hunter Green"..... $4.90/each
Floral Pattern Crew Socks (Black/Pink)..... $2.50/pair
Fuzzy Knit Sock Pack (Light grey/Cream)..... $4.00/each
Frayed Gauze Scarf in "Blush"..... $6.80/each
Glimmer Thread Knotted Headband (Black/Gold)..... $3.80

That ties up my F21 Haul and I hope you enjoyed.  What are your basic clothing staples?  If you're interested in any of these pieces, I highly suggest you order online and avoid trying to hunt them down in stores.  If you liked this post, please like, comment and follow for more.  You all have a great weekend!

1 Week Post Fast - Update + What I Ate

Hello, Again! I hope you are all doing well.  Today marks 1 week since I completed my 3-Day Naked Juice Fast.  If you never read the posts from my fast and you're interested, check out Part 1 and Part 2.  I want to share with you what I've been eating.  I've incorporated healthier foods and plan on keeping it that way.  What we eat affects our bodies in more ways than one.  My energy levels are rising and I've noticed an improvement in my skin.  Here are some examples of what my diet consists of.  It's not perfect, but a huge improvement and I'm loving having fresh fruit again.  Especially those dates---nature's candy, I swear it!

I hope I inspired you to make some changes in your own diet.  It takes only one day at a time and an open mind.. plus healthier stocked foods in place.  If you see them around, you will eat them and the same goes for the not-so-good choices.  De-junk the junk from your counters and life to move closer to a healthier, happier new YOU :)  What are your favorite healthy meal or snack ideas?  Share them below and don't forget to like, share, and follow me if you enjoyed.  Have a great day guys!

Snow Buddies! Playing in Michigan's Winter Wonderland

Hello, everyone!  Over the past week in Michigan, we have received all the snow we never got in December.  We have about 4 inches of snow, icicles dangling from the rooftop, and frost on my cars' windows.  Can't say I'm a huge fan of this cold weather, but it is beautiful and my dogs are loving it!  Aurora and Samantha have been having a blast outside lately and it makes my day, so I thought I'd share some pictures with all of you.

Aurora is our 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute and Samantha is our 2-year-old Old English Sheepdog.   They are best friends, complete clowns, and my big ole babies.  I can even call them my blog "assistants" because these guys are usually at my feet while I'm writing each and every post.  These two make my world go around and are the highlight of my day---everyday.  If you're looking for a time-out or relaxing moment, take a peek at these photos.  If my dogs know how to do something right, it's having fun.  Enjoy :)

Those are all the photos for now, but if you like these kind of posts I would definitely love to do more!  What is the weather like where you live?  Please comment, like and share if you enjoyed :)  Happy Monday!

Holiday Party Date Night - Outfit of the Day

Hello!  Back again with another post and today I wanted to share with you my first ever Outfit of the Day or in this case "night".  For the second year in a row, my boyfriend's work is hosting their annual Ford Christmas party at Henry Ford Museum for a night of dinner, dancing, and browsing the exhibits at night--our favorite part.  The company always hosts these parties in January when everyones' schedules are less hectic and can literally block off the museum till up to 1am...no joke!

The best aspect was the required dress-code: Evening Wear and Coat & Tie.  So in other words, the greatest excuse ever to get dressed up.  Hair, makeup, jewelry, a flowing dress and of course a pair of strappy heels--you name it.  All paired with my man in a black suit. What girl could turn that down?

Paul & I in front of a Wright Brother's Airplane.
And a selfie with the boyfriend :)

So a quick rundown for you..

Dress: Windsor Black Sequin High-low Dress

    Heels:  Aldo Black Leather Wedges

Jewelry: White Gold Diamond Dangle Earrings, White Gold Diamond Heart Necklace & Fitbit Flex--does that count as jewelry? I don't know!

Makeup:  Mostly BareMinerals with a dash of Jane Iredale & It Cosmetics

Nails: Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear Cherry Red & Invisible--acting topcoat

Hair Style:  Good Old Fashioned Foam Rollers --remember the beloved pink ones?

Last selfie--I promise!  I'm on the upper level and below are some of the formal seating arrangements that sit below an antique plane.. how cool is that?  Haha is it just me, or am I a complete nerd?
In a plane's cockpit from the 1930s.  It was a very tight space, but it's one of my favorite photos!
Just one example of the GORGEOUS chandeliers this museum has.  I swear the camera doesn't do it justice.
A couple of vintage classics....I particularly LOVE the pink and grey car on the right.
A completely off topic photo of an English bridle and saddle from the early 1900s.  I rode horses for many years and thought was very cool.  I've never seen antique horse tack in this good of condition before.  It looks barely used!
My two biggest babies here.. Aurora and Samantha.  Had to sneak in a few photos with them!
    Little Miss Nala too :)
Had a great night and have blisters on my feet to prove it.  I just had to add in those last couple photos for ya of the animals.. I can't come home and not get a few pictures with them too!  It's about 2am as I tie up this post.  I just wanted to say THANK YOU to anyone that stumbles onto my blog and sticks around long enough to read this.  YOU'RE AWESOME so thanks for taking the time, I really appreciate it.  Feel free to comment and share.  You have an amazing rest of your day and goodnight.

3-Day Naked Juice Fast - PART 2 - Results + Tips For Staying on Your Fast

Hello, everyone!  I'm alive and here to report on my 3-Day Naked Juice Fast.  In case you're wondering, I'm proud to say I completed it!  This post is for sharing my experiences and results of my fast!  If you're not sure what I'm referring to, click here to read PART 1.

Day 1 up until the evening was fine, but I eventually had a terrible upset stomach the rest of the night.  Actually, I continued to have stomach aches only at night the following two days, but they weren't as bad.  I have a feeling it was a combination of not eating and my body detoxing.  I also went a little overboard putting away holiday decorations on Day 1 and I think I over did it which also affected me.  All three days I did take time for a nap in the late afternoon and it really helped.  On a positive note, every morning I woke up feeling so vibrant and awake--a lot more than usual and that was really nice.  I also felt way less bloated, flatter in my stomach and light on my feet.  I never weighed myself for this fast since I don't own a scale, but I won't be surprised if I lost a few pounds during this experiment.  It's interesting what a little fasting can do!

There was no rule breaking or sneaking, but a lot of dreaming about food hahaha... It's funny how much we have a relationship with food.  Even when I wasn't hungry, I would be thinking about food especially these Rold Gold Honey Mustard Tiny Twist Pretzels!  Those damn things have been daunting me from on top of the microwave ever since I began that fast!  But honestly, the two hardest parts of this fast would have to be the act of eating/chewing food, and being able to eat dinner with my boyfriend Paul each night.  He was so supportive during this fast, but he definitely wasn't interested in taking part in it! Overall, I'm happy I completed the fast and I would consider doing it again in the future.

A Few Tips:  If you're interested in trying your own juice fast, I've gathered a some advice for you. First, have plenty of juice/supplies on hand because running out before you're done would be a disaster.  Secondly, don't forget to drink water in between servings; it will help you fluid out toxins naturally.  And third, is to keep busy.  Do not, I REPEAT do not over do it like I did on Day 1--it wasn't pleasant--but do things you enjoy and find ways to pass the time.  Mostly, I crocheted, browsed Amazon and caught up on Grimm.

Anyways, that's all for now.  I hope you enjoyed this Part 1& 2 of my Naked Juice Fast Journey.  Be sure to come back later this week for another post: Outfit of the Day Holiday Date Night Edition.  You all have a great day and I'll be back soon!

    Love ya lots,
    Richelle

    3-Day Naked Juice Fast - PART 1 - Details & Plan

Hello!  As I type this, I'm finishing Day 1 of my 3-Day Naked Juice Fast.  In Part 1 of this journey I will share with you the details and juice meal plan.  This is called the "Naked Juice Fast" because I will be drinking the packaged Naked Juices found at major grocery and health food stores.  I don't own a juicer and honestly, who wants to deal with the hassle and mess of it?  Not me!  If I'm really gonna do this, I need convenience!

THE WHY: Main reason is to kick-start healthier habits for 2015 and to detox my body.  I am also hoping for a "body reset"--as I've heard it called-- which sounds great and will give my system a break!  Plus, I'm pretty certain my skin and energy levels have been affected from the less-than-great-eating from this holiday season.  That's where I'm at and I'm ready for some changes!

THE DETAILS: I will be drinking 3- 16oz "meals" which will be Naked Juices and 3- 8oz "snacks" of 100% Tropicana Homestyle Orange Juice a day for a total of 3 days.  That comes to about 72oz of juice and 1250-1350 calories per day, give or take.

In addition to the juice, I will continue taking my daily vitamins, drinking plenty of water (I love slices of lemon & lime in mine), and drinking green/herbal tea.  The tea I'm drinking during this fast is Twinning's Jasmine Green Tea, Twinning's Green Tea Original, and Twinning's Camomile, Honey &Vanilla Herbal Tea.  The green tea will give me an extra boost in the morning and during the day whereas the camomile herbal tea will be drank before I go to bed to help me relax and fall asleep.

Other than the mentioned items, I will be consuming NOTHING ELSE.  No food, coffee and definitely no alcohol.  This is gonna be an experience!

THE PLAN: Here is a basic meal plan I will be following.

    • Morning: Water with fresh lemon & lime slices--about 16oz
      • Twinning's Jasmine Green Tea
    • Breakfast: Naked Juice "Blue Machine" 16oz--320 calories
    • Mid-morning Snack: Tropicana Homestyle 100% Orange Juice 8oz--110 calories
      • More water when desired
    • Lunch: Naked Juice "Green Machine" 16oz--280 calories
    • Afternoon Snack: Tropicana Homestyle 100% Orange Juice 8oz--110 calories
      • More water or green tea when desired
    • Dinner: Naked Juice "Blue Machine" 16oz--320 calories
    • After-Dinner Snack: Tropicana Homestyle 100% Orange Juice 8oz--110 calories
    • Before Bed: Twinning's Camomile, Honey & Vanilla Herbal Tea

Well that concludes the details of my fast, which will be ending on Thursday, January 8th.  I will be back on Friday for Part 2 to update you and share my experiences.  Be sure to come back for that!  This is my first-ever fast, so it's bound to me interesting!  Wish me luck!  Have a great day and I'll talk with you all later.

    Love ya lots,
    Richelle

Tea Tuesday - Teavana Jasmine Oolong Tea Review

Hello!  Welcome to Tea Tuesday, a monthly segment where I review a tea the first Tuesday of each month.  I wanted to share my new go-to tea, Teavana's Jasmine Oolong (find it here).  If you're not familiar, Teavana is an amazing tea speciality store that sells one-of-a-kind looseleaf teas, mugs/cups, and other tea lover gifts.  This tea is priced at $12.98/ 2oz, but I got it on sale for 50% off... I KNOW! I seriously lucked out and ended up purchasing 4oz :)

Let's talk flavor which can be best described as a soothing, earthly blend.  In my opinion, Oolong tea is like green tea's and black tea's lovechild--the perfect combination that's not too sweet and never bitter or too strong.  In fact, I love this tea so much that I drink it as is.  In my book, you know you've found a great tea when you love it by itself!   Tea should never need sugar or honey to taste good, only to enhance the already good flavor.

OOhh, and I can't forget to mention the smell!  My gosh, if you enjoy the scent of jasmine, this is for you!  Every-time, I mean literally every-time I have to smell the fresh tea leaves when I open the tin...I can't explain to you the beautiful soft smell this tea has.  Another bonus, this tea has so much flavor that as long as you don't over-steep it, you can easily get 2-3 cups from a single go and I know us tea lovers can appreciate that!

Well that ties up Tea Tuesday and I hope you enjoyed it.  I highly recommend you try this tea--it has quickly become a new favorite.  Please share yours in the comment section below!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE trying new teas!

QUICK SIDE NOTE: today I started my first 3-Day Juice Fast, so if you're interested in more details on that stay tuned for tomorrow's post where I'll give you the full scoop.  Anyways, thanks for reading in and have a great day :)  See you next Tea Tuesday in February!

    Love ya lots,

Happy New Year! ---- 2015 Resolutions & No Excuses!

Happy 2015 everyone!  I can't believe I'm even saying that... it seems like just yesterday I was decorating our Christmas Tree.  So fast forward to January!  In this very post, I will be sharing with you 4 of my resolutions.

~My first is all about this blog, working to build it and posting 2-3x a week.  No excuses, regardless if I'm the only one reading it.

~My second has to do with youtube, a thought in the back of my head for at least two years.  My boyfriend bought me a Canon camcorder for Christmas and despite my slight fear of talking to myself at a camera, I'm doing it.  Who knows until you try?

~My third is improving my eating habits and exercise routines.. yoga & pilates anyone?

~And Lastly fourth, enjoy life with my boyfriend Paul and our furry family at home.  Because happiness & love are what we strive for, isn't it? So share a smile and some laughs; this world could use a few extra. :)

Alright well there you have it, my 2015 New Years Resolutions out for the world to see.  It will be interesting to look back at these a year from now.  Where will you be?  Where will I be?  I guess we will have to wait and see.  However, I hope to see you in my next post... Yep, you're stuck with me! Stuck like glue you and me baby we're stuck like glue... oh, oops... just a little Sugarland to end the post on a positive note! Sorry I'm a country fanatic; I couldn't help myself ;)

As always, have an amazing night and until next time!  Also share your resolutions down below; I'd love to read them!

    Love ya lots,
    Richelle
