Tea Tuesday - Triple Leaf White Tea Review

Hello, everyone!  Another Tea Tuesday is already among us.. can you believe it?  It feels like I was just reviewing February's.  If you're completely confused on what it is I'm referring to, Tea Tuesday is a monthly segment where I share a new tea on the first Tuesday.  Hence, Tea Tuesday.  I thought it had a nice ring to it :)  Now let's get started!

For March, I chose Triple Leaf's White Tea (find it here) to review.  They offer a huge variety of all sorts of tea blends and most of them claim to aid in certain issues including sleep aid, detox, liver cleanse, etc.  However, I've been sticking to their more basic options, such as green tea and white tea.  Their green tea is actually my favorite green tea of all-time and I've repurchased several times, so that's what lead me to try this one.

Tripe Leaf's White Tea is my current favorite white tea on the market!  If you prefer milder teas or are new to drinking tea in general, I recommend you try white tea.  It's known to be one of the least processed of all the teas.  It's mildly sweet and earthly and provides less of a punch compared to black/green teas.  It's never overpowering, even if accidentally over steeped.  While naturally containing caffeine, I still find this to be a very calming and soothing drink.  I prefer to drink it as is, but once in awhile I love adding honey or raw sugar... just in case you're wondering :)

I highly recommend that you consider trying Triple Leaf White Tea or at least white tea in general.  I originally bought mine on Vitacost.com (save in bulk!) and also found it in the "natural health" section near the pharmacy at my local supermarket.  Let me know some of your favorite teas!  If you enjoyed please google+, comment and join this site (follow) for more.  You have an amazing rest of your day and see YOU on Thursday!

Love ya lots,
Richelle

  3. I'm not much of a tea drinker, and I've actually never heard of white tea. I didn't realize there was anything outside of black, rooibos and green tea hahah! So naive.
This sounds like a nice tea, I'm wondering... Could I ice it? I'm a huge fan of iced coffee so I feel like I'd be more apt to drink this if it were iced as well.. Thanks so much for sharing!

    1. Hi Stephanie! For sure, you can ice or chill any tea! There's many ways to do it... but no matter what, make you let the tea steep for longer otherwise the flavor won't be strong once it's cold. I make large batches of ice tea where I boil water in a pasta pot then add tea bags--add sugar and store in the fridge. If you want to have it right away, you could get hot water and over-steep the tea then pour over ice and add lemon or sugar. Many options! I hope this helps! Thanks for commenting... I hope I make a tea drinker out of you :)

  4. I've always been heistant trying new teas. I've only ever drank black, green, and earl grey. I love my black and green but not so much of a fan of earl grey. After reading this, I will definitely have to try white! I love this series and i'm excited for tuesday now!

    1. Hi Joycie! I've always been a loyal black and green tea drinker too, but I started venturing out with new flavors and I have no regrets! I love having the variety to choose from. And thanks for the kind words. I'm so glad you enjoy this series.. I look forward to it as well. The next one will be in April on the first Tuesday... right on schedule :) Thanks for commenting!
