RECIPE: Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats

Hello, everyone!  I hope you're all having a great week so far :)  Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only two days away?  Where the hell did the time go?!

For today's post it's all about the special canines in our lives... I will be sharing my Homemade Peanut Butter Dog Treats Recipe.  It requires only four ingredients and you can easily customize them with different cookie cutters.  I used little pumpkins and ghosts because lets face it-- my halloween soul couldn't resist and I'm not ready for winter just yet!

Lets get to baking!  NOTE:  You'll probably have some "assistance" in the kitchen.  Haha I always do ;)  Thanks Aurora

1 banana - peeled & mashed
1/2c peanut butter -- I used Jif Natural Creamy
1/3c Plain Chicken Stock
1c Flour

1. Preheat your oven to 350F degrees

2.  Mix all ingredients together.  It helps to mash the banana first then blend with the other wet ingredients and stir in the flour last.

3.  Once your dough has formed, roll out on a clean floured surface.

4.  Use cookie cutters of your choice and place treats on cookie sheet
(no oil or cooking spray needed)

5.  Bake for 13-15 until the edges are golden brown.  Let cool and surprise the pups!

My Malamute adores these "cookies" (treats are always known as cookies in our house) and they are definitely Aurora approved!  I'm very lucky that she puts up with me and is very photogenic!  Haha don't worry her hard work was rewarded :)

Since these treats are homemade, it is best to store them in the fridge and they last for about two weeks.  If left on the counter, they should be eaten within 3-5 days.

I wouldn't be me without my animals, so it was only right to have a dog themed post!  I hope you liked this idea :)  I love to spoil my babies when I can!  Any other crazy animal lovers out there?!

I hope you give this recipe a try!  Please let me know if you down below.  Feel free to follow my site for future posts.  Thanks for stopping by :)  Talk with you soon!

Lots of Love,
